Zeeland Bridge. The Zeeland Bridge, built between 1963 and 1965, is, with its 5 kilometer span the longest bridge in the Netherlands. It is part of the Delta Works, a series of civil engineering projects in the southwest of the Netherlands made to protect a large area of land around the Rhine-Meuse-Scheldt delta from the sea.
