Taking Australia India Relationship Forward Almost 125 people were present and people had to be turned away. Hon Tanya Plibersek the Deputy Leader of the Party and the Shadow Foreign Minister attended the beginning of the function. By the time she left people had to standing room only to listen. Aisha Amjad who co organised the function also was the MC and has been with Hon Michelle Rowland and I to India twice. Five speakers expert in their own field spoke. Hon Michelle Rowland, Neville Roach AO, Hon Chris Bowen, Dr Mike Kelly and Arunesh Seth were the speakers.
