14 1. Click the Possible Duplicate Item Found link next to the item in question on the Deposit screen. 2. A Review Duplicates screen appears with the previously scanned check and the current check. 3. Compare the checks to determine if they are duplicate checks. If they are not, click the No button and continue with the deposit. If they are the same, click the Yes button. You will be prompted to confirm the cancel. Click the Yes button to confirm item cancellation. Rejections There are a few reasons you may need to reject a deposit item. They include: There were problems with the initial scanned image. For example, you should reject an item if: o It was scanned in upside down or backwards. o It is folded or crooked. o Two items were scanned simultaneously. o The initial scan produced MICR line errors (you can reprocess it by rejecting it from the deposit and then rescanning it). You suspect the item is fraudulent. Possible Duplicate Item Found
