56 Excursions to Local Institutions The 200 young researchers were offered the opportunity to visit various regional institutes and companies. These excursions were mutually beneficial to both the institutes and the young researchers. There were intensive discussions between hosts and guests. “The excursions to companies and institutes complemented the sci- entific workshops successfully”, said one young researcher. Young researchers visited the exhibition “Project Inspiration” at the software company SAP AG, accompanied by Beate Spiegel, Managing Director of the KTS and Chairperson of the HLFF. The exhibition is dedicated to the 40th anniversary of the world leader in enterprise software and software-related services.
