That way, even if for some reason we missed an update for your favorite show... we’ll at least have last year’s information. In addition, we update the online data every single day! That way if a new show comes along, a date changes, a contact changes or whatever... you get that information right away! One of the problems with printing is that once you’ve printed... you’re done until you print again. If something has changed you don’t find out for three months! Like all things in life this part of our business is an ongoing adventure! We’re constantly adding new things and improving those that we have. The big news is that we now have our entire database online. We have almost 11,000 events and we’re aggressively updating as many as possible for you to see. Another problem with print information is that we have to mail it to you. And believe me... that is expensive and slow. The only reasonable way to mail something as large as our publication is to send it bulk mail. And the postal service limits us to 15.9 ounces. Oncewe’reheavierthanthatthecost increasesdramatically! Sothereforeoncewe reach about 1500 shows or so we’ve reached the limit of what we can publish. Online we can deliver whatever number we want. In all practicality we could list every little tiny show, every huge show and everything in between for the entire country and still not begintoexhausttheresourcesavailabletous. We can link those right to the event record so you can read and see everything we have about any particular show.
