Beautiful building that is also an arts venue, displaying local artists’ work for sale and hosting live music events. They also have port wine tastings and 10 dinners that are homemade, have multiple courses, and are absolutely delicious. A great way to meet other travelers too. The staff are super interesting. I got to know them better on a free walking tour. They also have an arts district walking tour! The rooms are dedicated to particular Portuguese artists. Most comfortable beds I’ve ever slept in, in any kind of accommodation, including hotels! Submitted by: C.M. Twitter: clarissamarzan Gallery Hostel is beautifully designed, featuring a changing range of local artworks. It’s also a social place with communal dinners (great value at 10 Euros for three courses including wines) with staff and other guests, port tastings and free walking tours of Porto and the art district. All dorms are en suite and there are four good value private rooms too.
