The Holy Spirit. The Holy Spirit helps us to understand better the Word of God that is proclaimed during the Holy Mass and to put it into action in our daily lives. By his power he changes the bread and wine into the Body and Blood of Christ. He unites us in love to Christ and each other. “We, who are many, are one body in Christ” (1 Cor 10,17). Gives strength to those who participate so that they will be able to become a spiritual offering that is pleasing to the Father, and to give themselves to each other so as to live according to the sacrament that they celebrate. Ensures that the whole community becomes more and more the body of Christ. 130
