Chantal Chauzy Head of International Sales and Acquisitions for the Americas and English-Speaking Countries for All Rights Entertainment, Chantal also served as Vice President of Acquisitions and Home Video at Strand Releasing, one of the leading independent film distributors in the U.S.. After graduating from ESEC (Ecole Superieure d’Etudes Cinematographiques) in Paris, France, Chantal worked in film production in Europe, and in 2003 moved to Los Angeles to attend UCLA’s Producers Program. She holds an MA in film studies and a BA in English from the Sorbonne University in Paris. Stefania Magidson Romanian-born Stefania Magidson is the Chair of the Romanian Program at SEEfest and the Founder and President of Blue Heron Foundation, one of the largest non-profit organizations in the Romanian diaspora. She is a dedicated supporter of the UCLA Graduate School of Education, the Oakwood School (LA), the Everychild Foundation (LA), SEEfest (LA), and the Making Waves Romanian Film Festival (NY). She is the co-producer of the film Omega Rose, and author of the upcoming book Searching for the White Magician. FEATURE FILMS 2015 PROGRAMMERS & ADVISERS Rich Sturdevant A transplant from New York, Rich started Dancing Silly Productions with his wife, Lizz Henderson and wrote and directed his first feature, Suicide Is Easy, which went on to win Best Guerilla Feature Film and was nominated for Best Actress award at the AOF International Festival. Next he directed Envisage (2013), an experimental film shot entirely in subjective camera. Awarded for its technical achievements, Envisage is currently making its film festival rounds. Dancing Silly Productions is now working on a comedy series called The Green Room. With lots of joy and motivation, Rich plans to continue making films that are original, intriguing, and that challenge the audience as well as himself. » Tracey L. Jonathan Marquis Jon Marquis is proud to present a diverse range of cinematic voices for this year’s festival, including SEEfest’s first-ever animation showcase. He began working with SEEfest in 2012 as a Programming Intern and is currently a cataloger for the UCLA Film & Television Archive. » Molly Mahar, Tee Sampson, John Keitel, Hettie Lynne Hurtes, and Gabrielle Adrien provided invaluable help with the screening and notes for this program. Greg Irwin He is a screenwriter and documentarian currently working with the USC Shoah Foundation, an academic institute founded by Steven Spielberg to assemble and distribute an archive of over 53,000 audiovisual testimonies of survivors and witnesses of the Holocaust and other genocides. In addition to his filmmaking pursuits, he is presently focused on coordinating an overhaul of the Institute’s annual Student Voices Film Contest, and constructing videos for its various educational and research endeavors.
