LesbianNightLife.com reports no events for December. If you ask a lesbian about Atlanta Night Life (go ahead, go get one… I’ll wait), specifically about events catered for and by womyn, chances are you’ll find the cutest look of confusion or exasperation on her face. That look will query,“What night life?”Please, no shade to those clubs and organizations that are providing such entertainment. They are doing it AND doing it well. It just feels like with the number of Queer friendly womyn, there should be a plethora of choices. SeattleTimes ranked Atlanta 3rd in the nation of individuals self-identifying as members of the GLBT community, a whopping 12.8% of the respondents (politifact.com). Even with this large population of womyn, Google search“Lesbian Bars in Atlanta”returns only My Sisters Room as the sole, full time lesbian bar. WHERE MY GIRLS AT??????BY GAIL MOORE
