After the usual back-to-school rush has subsided, it can be very easy to slide into a rut for the remainder of the school year. You may already find yourself skipping out on homework sessions, putting off big projects, and attempting to lay low until the semester ends. However, we urge you to take a different approach. It’s no big secret that Fall Break starts tomorrow. If you’re anything like us, you may have been tapping your pen in anticipation of it for the last week or so. We urge that you take this opportunity to rest and rejuvenate but to also use this much needed time off to ready yourself to take on the rest of the school year. We also suggest that you have a copy of The Prowler on hand during your upcoming Fall Break excursions. Whether you’re lounging by the pool or just around the house, be sure to read up on the multitude of stories we have to offer this issue. Check out our article on slut shaming and women in the media. Pore over our point coun- terpoint arguing the pros and cons of the school’s involvement in social media. Educate yourself on changes that were recently made to our school’s grading system and lunchroom menus. Enjoy columns from our senior staffers. Whatever you choose to do this Fall Break, we hope that this downtime will leave you feeling well rested and recharged. Best Wishes, Katherine Hancock & Katie Atkinson Editors in Chief
