PROWLER 11 Feature 2014 Union Grove Homecoming Court “I’m thankful for everyone who nominated me,” said Coleman Hatmaker, Freshman Prince. Freshmen “I’m was afraid I was going to trip. It’s special to me that everyone could think of me,” said Lauren Waldrop, Freshman Princess Sophomores “I was excited about the food on the side- lines, the festivities, and the whole dressing up thing,” said Marquis Black, Sophomore Prince. “I was excited about finding the perfect dress and standing in front of my fellow class- mates,” said Essence Graham, Sophomore Princess. “I was honored to be chosen. I didn’t think I was going to win,” said Leroy Holt, Junior Prince. “My family came into town. They might have been more excited than I was,” said Alexis Vickers, Junior Princess. Seniors “I like to be in front of my friend and I like to win. I like my dress and I was excited to put my hair up,” said Katie Toreno, Exception- al Princess. “I was excited. It was my first time,” said Mi- chael Lind, Exceptional Prince. “I was really excited about being on home- coming court this year because it’s my last year and I feel honored to represent our class. It was nice to be standing with them for our final homecoming, cheering on our school,” said Taylor Duty, Senior Princess. “I think was an honor that people chose me to be on homecoming court. I wasn’t as excited as my mother. She was so excited, she talked about her outfit for two weeks. It made me happy to see her so happy,” said Austin Wil- liams, Senior Prince. “I was just so excited. It was such a blessing to have people vote for me. I never would have expected it. It’s surreal,” said Dakota Gammage, Homecoming Queen. “It meant a lot to be chosen because my class- mates nominated me.
