www.sabinestorage.com Solution Mining, Water Supply and Brine Disposal Experience SSO has designed and operated several solution mining facilities for several clients. These facilities were associated with brine producing and/or hydrocarbon storage facilities located in both domal and bedded salt. In addition to the solution mining facility for GSU at Spindletop which uses surface water from a canal, SSO has provided technical and operational support for over 10 years to the DCP Midstream (formerly Duke Energy Field Services) facility, located at Spindletop. SSO has designed and operated several water supply (surface water and water wells) and brine disposal systems for solution mining operations. SSO has recently finished drilling and completing two Class I (non-hazardous) disposal wells. *USDW = Underground Source of Drinking Water.
