Reproduced by Australian Atatürk Cultural Centre Inc. 26 • In order to stave off covetousness, greed and spite, citizens of the world must be educated. • To let people slaughter each other allegedly with the object of making mankind happy is both inhuman and deplorable in the extreme. • The idea of interdependence and solidarity replaces the idea of every man for himself with one of every man for all men • Freedom belongs to social and civilised man. • There are factors, which build up, develop and promote the progress of nations.
