9 JSC Tbilvino The company is headed by the Margvelashvili brothers. Zura Margvelashvili is a winemaker who participates in every aspect of Vinification, leading the group of experienced experts. Zura is a Georgia’s agrarian university graduate and a former student in California’s WENTE-Vineyard. His brother Giorgi is an economist, a graduate of the Maastricht management school. Jeff Aston, our Australian chief winemaker started his career at Charles Start’s wine cellar and later moved to the Clonakilla winery under the tutelage of Tim Kirk. In 2004, he became a winemaker at Lerida. Started from 2005, Jeff creates the Tbilvino wines that are highly praised at various international competitions. JSC Tbilvino will provide high-quality wine for the closing reception. http://tbilvino.com.ge Just some of the awards received: Decanter World Wine Awards (DWWA) Decanter World Wine Awards (DWWA) founded in 2004 is among the world’s most influential wine competitions and receipt of awards and can bring the winners overnight success. The marketing boost to brands of Decanter awards helps products sell rapidly from store shelves, with attendant high sales. DWWA judges entries on a 20-point marking system.
