3 ABOUT OUR VENUES ASIAN BEER CAFE, a vibrant Asian themed bar based in Melbourne Central in the heart of the CBD, was voted ‘Favourite Cheap Eats’ in the 2014 Foxtel I Love Food Awards, and a finalist in the 2014 AHA Awards for ‘Best Theme Bar’, ‘Hotel Industry Rising Star’ and ‘Outstanding Community Service and Achievement’ categories. FATHER’S OFFICE is a prohibition themed speakeasy bar that has won multiple awards for theme and presentation, including the AHA ‘Best Theme Bar’ Award in 2013 and 2014 and the Victorian ‘Favourite Bistro/Pub Food’ in the 2014 Foxtel I Love Food Awards. Centrally located, in Melbourne’s QV complex, Father’s Office prides itself on authenticity, and features a charming art deco interior, with vintage pieces and reconditioned 1920′s fireplaces lining the walls as well as a beautiful wrap around balcony area, showcasing Melbourne’s historic Swanston & Little Lonsdale Streets. The vast menu is proudly farm to table, mirroring traditional Americana offerings with our own local twist. THE SHAW DAVEY SLUM, a play on words. The name is an oxymoron and a celebration of Carlton’s diverse history of a great era of Australian Culture. “The Slum”, as it has been termed, is unique in style, presentation and represents great value for money. In its first 6 months of being open, The Slum recieved finalist nominations for AHA’s ‘Best Theme Bar’ and ‘Best Bar Service and Presentation’ 2014 award categories. The “Slum” has a retractable rooftop; 36 gold plated cricket stump beer taps; hand made concrete bar top embedded with 24-carat gold and silver leaf on the ground floor and seashells on the top floor. The full service dining room focuses on unique Australiana flavours, styled with traditional Australian bush spices. THE BANK Our newest venue, The Bank on Collins, was opened on the 15th October 2015 and is perfect for corporate gatherings, engagement parties and weddings. The floor plan is versatile enough to accommodate any style of event, catering for close to 700 people across both levels. This is a spectacular building and we are thrilled to have brought it back to life and restored its former glory. Detailed features include a 17-meter brass bar top, 24 copper beer taps, 3 gold wine taps, 120pax seater restaurant, a private dining room to cater for 20-30 people, private cocktail area, 2nd champagne bar on the mezzanine level and ornate detailing throughout.
