9 Setting Up and Using the Check Scanner Once you have registered for Business Remote Deposit, you will need to install and set up the check scanner. To complete the scanner installation process, you must be logged in as an administrator to the computer. If you are not an administrator, you should click the Cancel button to close the application and have an administrator login to the computer to continue with the setup process. Check Scanner Installation 1. If you are ready to install the check scanner, click the Next button on the Setup Process screen. Step 1: Ensure the check scanner is powered off and/or disconnected from the computer. Once you have confirmed this, click the Next button 2. Step 2: Select the model of the scanner you have from the dropdown menu, and click the Next button. The most common scanners you might have are the DCC TS240 or Panini VisionX. There is a label on the underside of your scanner if you are not sure which you possess. Step 3: Click the Download the Installer link to begin the download of the scanner drivers. 3. You will be presented with a standard security warning message. Click the Run button to start the scanner driver installation, and follow the InstallShield Wizard installation instructions.
