Mumbai — Bollywood’s dance icon Helen and the ever-so-graceful Waheeda Rehman matched steps to the title track of Salman Khan and Sonam Kapoor’s forthcoming film “Prem Ratan Dhan Payo”. Salman shared the Dub- smash video of Waheeda and Helen dancing on the tunes of the track from Sooraj Barjatya’s much- anticipated family drama. “‘Prem Ratan Dhan Payo’ performed by the 2 most beautiful women,” Salman tweeted along with the video. Helen, who is married to Salman’s father Salim Khan, and Waheeda seem like they enjoyed dancing to the number. Even filmmaker Karan Johar, whose own mov- ies feature larger than life song and dance sequences, commented: “This is just adorable” on the video fea- turing the two Hindi film veterans. ‘Live in harmony’ With “Prem Ratan Dhan Payo”, the 49-year-old is revisiting his popular on- screen name ‘Prem’, and the film also brings him to- gether with Sooraj Barjatya after 16 years. They have previously worked in three blockbusters, “Maine Pyar Kiyaa, “Hum Aapke Hain Koun..!” and “Hum Saath- Saath Hain”. “Prem Ratan Dhan Payo”, which also stars Amit Sadh is like my inhouse hero –Taapsee Pannu Mumbai — “The Home- coming”, a short film, marks Taapsee Pannu’s fourth time pairing with Amit Sadh. The actor says she’s now very comfortable working with him. After working in the yet- to-release “Runningshaadi. com”, the actors have worked together in an ad and a documentary. Then “The Homecoming”, which stresses on the importance of family, came their way. Talking about the experi- ence, she said: “This is the fourth time that Amit Sadh and I have worked together. He is like an in-house hero for me. It’s quite comfort- able working with Amit. And working with Piyush Mishra is interesting as this is the first time I have shared screen space with him.” “The Homecoming” has the festival of Diwali as its backdrop. The film is for online furniture store Ur- ban Ladder, and delves into the thought that a home is built by a family that lives in it and not the furniture. It captures the journey of a couple to move into their son’s home, when the son and his wife make them feel at home with thought- ful changes in the house. Taapsee says she was emotional while filming it. “Those who will watch the film will definitely feel emotional,” the actress said. “I was sobbing while doing the scenes. This film is made to celebrate relationships. We worked 20 hours a day and completed the film in just two days. I can assure that watch- ing this film shall certainty bring tears in your eyes.” Anupam Kher and Swara Bhaskar, will release No- vember 12. Meanswhile, amid ongo- ing debate over intolerance, Bollywood superstar Sal- man Khan says he doesn’t believe in judging people on the basis of where they come from or their reli- gion. The superstar also has a message to send out — “We all are humans, and should live in harmony.” “We all are here, we are sitting beside each other, does anything make it dif- ferent? It doesn’t matter. I believe that we are all Indi- ans, we are all humans and we should love each other and live together. “That is what my orga- nization Being Human is about. We don’t go on ask- ing who are you and where are you from and I don’t believe in this at all,” Sal- man said. Puneet hopes‘Bigg Boss’boosts career New Delhi — Actor Puneet Vashist, the second wild card entry of “Bigg Boss Nau”, hopes the reality TV show will be his ticket to a successful career in Bolly- wood. He said that superstars Salman Khan and Shah Rukh Khan will bid for him after he comes out of the ‘Bigg Boss’ house. “MycareerinBollywood will be changed — full on. After I come out of ‘Bigg Boss’ victoriously Salman bhai will be in my house asking me what to do next bro, Shah Rukh andAkshay Kumar will bid for me that they want — Puneet Vash- ist,” Puneet said over phone from Lonavla before enter- ing the house. Puneet, best remem- bered for acting in Shah Rukh-starrer “Josh”, is en- tering the ‘double trouble’ ninth season, hosted by “Dabangg” star Salman. The episode goes on air on Colors channel. Puneet, who has worked on both small as well as silver screen, asserted he is confident about his act- ing skills, and hopes to win the season of the reality show, which has earned a notorious reputation for its controversies and constant brickbats. ‘Chickens will face tiger’ He said: “It’s going to be a flood of votes on my entry, not because I have had the advantage of telling people to vote for me but because I have just done collective work as an actor. People love me... it is just the in- dustry, politics that I have not got work I deserved till now. “I should not crib about it and God is great that I got this platform and I am going to come out victori- ous.” Contestants who are still left include Mandana Kari- mi, Prince Narula, Suyyash Rai, Kishwar Merchant, Keith Sequira, Rochelle Rao, Aman Verma, Yuvika Chaudhary, Digangana Suryavanshi and Rimi Sen. And Puneet, who fea- tured in TV serials like “Shastri Sisters” and Kya Huaa Tera Vaada”, has a message for all the in- mates: “All the chickens are now going to face the tiger. “They all will maintain a distance from me,” he said. His strategy is to show the real side of Puneet to the world. “Just be myself is my strategy. I am full of dance. I am a musician, performer, entertainer and all this has been showed to the world in bits and pieces in different characters but now people will get to see Puneet for the first time,” he said. An Indian version of the international series “Celeb- rity Big Brother”, the show is also famous for testing contestants emotionally, physically and emotionally. But Puneet is not bothered. The actor, who has mov- ie “Life Biryani” in pipe- line, shared that he is wait- ing to be “physically and mentally challenged”.
