38 Warranties WARRANTY - Parola Umbrellas are guaranteed for ONE FULL YEAR to be free from defects in original material and workmanship. If a defect in the original material or workmanship appears during the warranty period; Parola srl. (at its option) will replace or repair your product without charge. Damage caused by neglect or abuse are not covered under the warranty. Contact your local dealer where the product was purchased for return information. STRUCTURE WARRANTY: Parola warrants to the consumer that any product is free from manufacturer defects in material or workmanship for a period of one (1) years from the date of original purchase when used in compliance with directions as outlined in the manufacturer's instructions, which includes reasonable and necessary maintenance by the consumer. Failure to follow the given assembly, maintenance and care instructions may void your product warranty. In case of manufacturing defects in material or workmanship, agrees to, at their discretion, repair or replace any defective product without charge for the warranty period. To be covered under this warranty, claims and repairs must be made by/to the authorized dealer or directly to the manufacturer. As the consumer, you assume all cost incurred in shipping your unit to a repair location specified by them. The repaired unit/parts will be returned to the consumer freight prepaid. Any implied warranty is limited in duration to the one (1) years provided in this, the only, expressed warranty. EXCLUSIONS: No responsibility is assumed for incidental or consequential damages. Warranty does not cover any damage due to improper installation, adverse weather conditions, wind, misuse, neglect, lack of reasonable maintenance, or the use of any unauthorized attachments. Any damage caused by external force or factors (broken umbrella ribs, punctures, abrasions or burn holes in the fabric etc.) is explicitly excluded from warranty coverage. Warranty is void if unit is subjected to unauthorized service by anyone other than a dealer or themselves. To avoid damage or personal injury the umbrellas must not be used in strong wind conditions of more than 35mph for cantilever umbrellas or for more than 40mph for center pole umbrellas or in case of heavy rain. Umbrellas must be closed when unattended and/or in bad atmospheric conditions. Umbrellas must be used with the proper base and the amount of ballast weight as specified with each model. FABRIC CLEANING INSTRUCTIONS: Wash the cover with warm water (max 40 degree C) when the umbrella is in the open position using a sponge or soft brush to treat any spots or stains. Do not dry in direct heat. Do not spin dry or dry clean. Leave the umbrella open until completely dry. This fabric is mold and mildew resistant and its fluorocarbon finish gives it excellent water and stain resistance. Acrylic’s solution-dyed acrylic fiber gives the fabric brilliant colors. In the solution-dying process, the color becomes an integral part of the fiber by being added when the fiber is still in a liquid form, giving our marine fabrics unbeatable color fastness without fading or washing out. This fabric offers unbeatable color fastness, superior shape retention and a 5-year limited warranty against rot, mildew, and loss of color or strength. Terms and Conditions: The terms, conditions and pricing included in our 2014 catalogue supersede all previously listed issued by Parola USA “The Shade Experts”, and are subject to change without notice. Free Standing bases are included in the cost of the cantilever umbrellas. Cement stones to insert into bases are not included, please refer to the model specifications in the Parola USA “The Shade Experts” 2014 catalog for sizes and proper ballast weight needed for specific umbrella models. Prices: All prices shown are list prices unless specifically noted and are FOB- West Palm Beach, Florida. Custom Orders: A variety of custom options are available, a 50% partial payment is required prior to the start of production on the order. Custom orders may not be cancelled once into production. Returns: Authorization is required prior to the return of goods. No credit will be allowed for goods returned without our written consent. All returns must be made within 14 days of receiving of merchandise. Custom items are not returnable due to the nature of the items. Claims: All claims for shortage must be made within 5 business days of receipt of goods. At the time of delivery, any visible damage or shortages must be noted on the freight bill. Packages should be opened immediately and inspected for concealed damages. Freight Policy: Unless a particular carrier is specified, your order will be shipped best way-freight prepaid and added to your invoice. Special shipping instructions will be carried out to the best of our abilities. Loss or Damages: At the time goods are delivered to the carrier, the risk of loss passes to the buyer. We carefully pack and inspect all goods before shipments leave our warehouse.
