SUSTAINABILITY CREATES ITS OWN REWARDS The most convincing confi rmation of our sustainability efforts comes from meeting people who have used a Rapid product for many years – because a tool that lasts longer is the best tool for the environment. But our sustainability efforts go much further than that. Because Rapid is part of the Acco brand’s EMEA, we share common sustainability targets. Two of our main targets are zero direct CO2 emissions in terms of electricity consumed in the group’s manufacturing and distribution facilities and a 15% reduction in electricity consumption. Our Swedish factory only uses electricity from renewable sources and during 2024, managed to reduce electricity consumption by 30 percent. It's also our pleasure to report that in February 2025, the Acco brand’s EMEA was awarded the silver medal by EcoVadis – independent, international analysts who evaluate the sustainability rating of companies based on their performance within environmental impact, labour and human rights, ethics and sustainable procurement. The silver medal means that Acco brand’s EMEA is in the top 15% of all companies rated globally (in total, over 150 000 companies were rated). Rapid is also a member of the “Make It Zero” organisation. This is an industry-wide collaboration between suppliers and retailers designed to scale up initiatives that lead to a reduction in indirect emissions (Scope 3). 66

With a particularly high score in reducing environmental impact, our ranking was in the top 3% and top 4% for sustainable procurement. Make It Zero is an initiative in the DIY sector, developed by EDRA/GHIN (European DIY Retailers Association and Global Home Improvement Network).
