WIRED CAN INTERFACES Today, forklift and warehouse equipment manufacturers already benefit during new device development phase from uniform diagnostic inter- faces for service technicians. Via wired CAN interfaces the service PC is connected via USB or RS-232 with the vehicles. In this way CAN data may be analyzed at any time. The main advantage for machine and vehicle developers is the prospect of being able to read out various diagnostic protocols of different series and generations of vehicles.
