48 Foster City living!LOCAL™ City Guide The Art and Wine festival invites all to enjoy Foster City’s premier park and lagoon. Presented by the Foster City Chamber of Commerce, the festival draws over 40,000 people over a two-day period, and features arts and craft vendors, a diverse selection of food, beer and wine, and live entertainment. A special draw for kids of all ages is the carnival and midway. The Foster City Art Exhibition is held inside the Recreation Center, coinciding with the Festival hours.There are also booths hosted by local merchants and non-profit organizations who offer a variety of goods and resources. The City pulls out all the stops to welcome the attendees, closing streets and opening hearts. The police and fire pull extra duty to provide support for the festival, doing demonstrations and tours of the equipment, and children dominate the community stage, sharing their passion for martial arts, dance, and music.
