42 Foster City living!LOCAL™ City Guide The Youth Sports Groups of Foster City have partnered with Foster City Parks and Recreation to assure the successful and safe delivery of youth sports activities in Foster City. Through an investment of coaches, players, parents and volunteers of the Foster City youth sports groups deliver on a promise of creating positive, dynamic and lasting experiences for all who participate in Foster City Youth Sports programs This promise has also come with a significant financial commitment to support the City’s efforts to install synthetic surface fields . The synthetic surface fields will allow for a safe and well maintained sports field but of most importance allow the City to ©PhotocourtesyofParks&Recreation ©PhotobyMarahCurry FIELDS OF conserve and reduce water use as well as redeploy park maintenance resources to other parks throughout the City . A financial commitment of $750,000 by Foster City Youth Sports will be met by the year 2016.
