it kid academy (s.t.e.m) we are committed to closing the digital divide one mind at a time! our program will enable our youth to become viable, proficient & competitive contenders in this evolving global marketplace. in 8 weeks, your student will: • master the technical knowledge necessary to build, troubleshoot, and repair a pc • learn the skills necessary to function as a pc support or help desk technician • build a computer unit with their own hands, which is theirs to keep at the end of the program or donate it! every day, thousands of volunteer reading partners make a lifelong difference for kids that struggle with reading. more than simply reading with a child, our volunteers follow a proven, structured curriculum to help students learn specific skills necessary to become proficient readers. edumatics® is looking for volunteers that can bring a wealth of energy, talent, skill, and care for our students. volunteers are needed monday-friday, open availability. as a reading volunteer at selected orange county schools. if interested or know someone that is: contact edumatics®: info@edumaticsprogram.com or 407.656.0661 edu- updates a 24 hour notice of cancelation and/or request form must be completed prior to the next session schedule. our registration fee is $100.00. this yearly fee pays for supplies & educational subscriptions which all members enjoy. it also allows for us to provide a variety of monthly workshops (free to members) partner in education schools will receive $25 off the registration fee. edumatics provide discounts for multiple students in the same household. the second student will receive a 25% off discount after the first member signs up. we ask for a 90 day commitment and must be given a thirty (30) day notice of cancellation. if advance notice of at least thirty (30) days is not given; your account will reflect current monthly charge. every student must have a credit card on file. there will be no charge to the card, unless a thirty (30) notice for cancellation is not given. students are responsible for scheduling make-up sessions. parents/students please give us at least a 24 our notice to reschedule a coaching session all payments are due on the 1st day of the month and will be accessed a late fee of $ 25 after the 2nd of the month. a charge of a no show fee plus the cost of the session will be applied to the card on file. parenting tips after your child has stopped to correct a word he has read, have him go back and reread the entire sentence from the beginning to make sure he understands what the sentence is saying. request that your child's teacher schedule after-school math tutoring sessions if your child really needs help. when your child reads aloud to you and makes a mistake, point out words she has missed and help her to read the word correctly. help your child with time management. edumatics schedule we operate from the orange county public school system’s schedule. however, during the dates orange county deems a holiday, edumatics® will operate on a limited schedule.
